Im looking for another G1 android phone. Mine started messing up on me. I loved the phone, I just want another one, or Something close to it.

I have ATT.

I wasn't aware AT&T was teamed up with android. I thought that was specifically for verizon or tmobile. Unless you are using unlocked cell phones?

The T-mobile one Is easy to unlock. You just go on ebay, and there are services to do it for you for about 10 bucks or so.

Everything works except for 3g, it will only work with att's Edge network. Which has never bothered me.

Go with the new Motorola Backflip. Brand new phone for AT&T with Android. I love it.

Why not go with the iPhone if you have ATT? IMO that is the best phone ever. Many companies have tried to make a competitor with little success.

I would love to get an Iphone, But everyone wants more than I can afford. The G1 seems to be decent priced for a used one. I just cant see spending a couple hundred on a phone that I'm going to beat up.

If you'd like to conform and be locked down get an Iphone. If not get something per-say a Touch Pro 2 Or HD 2 they're much more expandable.

i got my iphone 3g, unlocked (jailbroken) with waranty, for 300$ no contract, and it was like new when i got it...

technically, jailbreaking voids the waranty, but if you restore the phone before taking it into the store, there is no cookies that show it was jail broken, and if you don't have a simcard for the provider that the phone is supposed to be on, just tell them you took the sim card out and put it in a backup phone, which you left at home...

yeah totally, i was told by one of my friends that is a manager at apple ( and has a jailbroken phone as most of the employees do) he basically said if you restore the iphone 7 to 10 times there is no way they can trace back :)

wow, that is bad... my 3g (non-s)'s battery lasts me all day, when i go snowboarding, i listen to the MP3 player on it, for hours... after 8 hours (with airplane mode on) the battery indicator still shows fully charged... average use, which uses the browser a little, and some texting, and some phone calls, my battery, after a normal day of use, shows about 1/2 left.... i have killed it in a few hours with hardcore use though... videos and tap tap revenge kill it fast
