The only thing keeping me going...
Is looking at all the pics of other Rangers on here.
Ford has/had a pretty sweet incentive deal going on up here in Canuckistan so I went and bought myself a 2009 Sport SuperCab 4.0l 5spd 4x2 (Silver).
It's been sitting at the dealership for a couple days now waiting for my insurance to go through. I don't know if anyone else has dealt with belairdirect before but they take awhile to process your application.
I probably would have gone mad by now if it weren't for all the different build and howto stuff on here. I don't think I'll be doing anything drastic to her (haven't come up with a name yet) for awhile yet but some of the threads on here have me second guessing myself.

I will definitely get some pictures of it once I have it. I'll take some pics of it at the dealership if I have my camera on me next time I go out though.
Right now I'm living and working in Newmarket, looking at places in Bradford, Holland Landing though, rent and housing prices are a little lower out there.
Right now my plans consist of debating drop-in versus spray-on bedliner versus rubber mat. The back will probably only ever see topsoil, lumber, drywall etc, very occasionally. I like some of the spray-ons, Rhino and Line-x, but I don't know if it's worth the $.
The extent of my mechanical experience is changing brake pads/rotors and changing oil/trans fluid on my old 92 XLT years and years ago, so don't expect to see me asking about converting from 2wd to 4.
Although, I have been looking at cranking the t-bar to give it maybe an inch more lift, but I'd be a little worried about when I am towing a boat or a camper (wishful thinking about having either one anytime soon though). Cranking the t-bar increases the tension on the suspension, doesn't it?
Oh and I might look into swapping the 60/40 bench out for bucket's, but then my girl won't be able to cuddle up as close when we go to the drive-ins.
Yeah Red was my first choice, but Silver will end up being more practical in the long run I think, I didn't get AC (or any other options) so silver is good for that, and dirt etc will show up less on silver (I hope). When I was working construction a couple of summers ago I was given a Black 4x4, and I thought it looked very sharp. I actually had black as my second choice but all the dealership could find in the GTA with no options was Silver. I love it now that my name is on the paper but I'd probably feel the same way no matter what colour it is.

Drop-in if you plan to sell the truck.

If you're going to keep the truck, then SPRAY ON FTMFW!!! My bed would have literally rusted through by now with all the terrible **** I've dropped/slammed/lowered/scraped in there if it wasn't for rubber spray-on. A lot more friction than with drop-ins too.

Round my end of the igloo, spray on actually depreciates the value of the truck. Otherwise I don't think there would be any business for drop-in's, despite the price difference.

Welcome! Congrats on the truck. I agree with most of the others, spray on liner it if you plan on keeping the truck! I have Line-X in mine and I'm very happy with it.
When I signed up with belairdirect... it was about noon and I had a my temporary insurance slip emailed to me within an few hours, and it was good for midnight that night. Not sure what they're doing with yours?
