Howdy All , I am new to this forum and wish all a happy new year. I took delivery on a 2008 2.3 ,5 speed 2 wheel drive on sept. 28 . The truck is great with a couple of problems 1, the coolant in the reservior has dropped about a half inch (3500 miles now) and when the truck is warmed up there is a steady stream of bubbles (small) coming up into the coolant res. 2 The gas peddle is sticky coming off idle (started at about 2500 miles peddle was hard to press at start up then something gave or broke and peddle freed up with exception of off idle stickyness ). white grease didn't help. I am taking it in for for this warranty work after the 1st. To me it looks like a leaking head gasket etc. or is this common with the new models (bubbles). I also read where there was a problem with the 07 throttle bodies . Thanks for any insight concerning these problems. I have had problems with ford service with other ford trucks in the past and don't want go in empty handed. The drop in coolant could have been a trapped air bubble and the bubbles normal which i doubt. The sticking peddle is anybodies guess. Keep the shiny side up. Bob

I hate to say this, as I'm considered a newb on this forum, but I disagree. IMO the intro section is for just that, an introduction. (Also Welcome Ranrail) And the problems should go in the proper place, these being the 4 banger section. I also think it will get more traffic that way. However, in regards to the problems. Since it is brand new: a) just let the warranty cover it, but talk to the mech personally to pinpoint the problem/solution. and b) Its brand new and not many people have dealt with the problems. Good luck and let us know
