Howdy From Washington!
Howdy folks.. names Mike, from Washington!
This last Monday, I purchased my 2001 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab 4.0L 6-C 5spd Manual 4WD, a great replacement to my old 1988 Ford Ranger 2wd 2.3L 5 spd, that was slowly being worn down from use.
Currently working at the Skamania Lodge out here, great job, BUSY work weeks, pulling 100+ hours per check on average. And every other moment I'm not working, I'm out on the high roads or tinkering with my truck. This next Tuesday I am putting a dual Flowmaster 40 series exhaust on my pickup.. buddy of mine is ordering it up adn installing it for $309 at a local spot in Camas, he worked on my old Ranger before, and was damn proud to see me driving the one I've got now.. and happy that he gets to be the one to help work on it :-)
I have been trolling the site for ages now, getting information on different how-to's, modifications, and the damn awesome things you guys/gals do to your trucks.. and I am slowly working it up on my own time to get my pickup in tip top shape with a long list of my own modifications installed.
Happy to be a part of the community.. and heres the pics you all like so much!
P.S. - I jsut bought a brand new Canon Powershot S5 IS digital camera, just waiting on some new batteries to come in for my rechargeables to start snapping an awful lot more pictures!

HELLO my friend from the north! Welcome to our little corner of the net!!
I like your truck. Sometimes I wish I bought a white one instead of purple. If you ever need help modding the truck....just let me know. You aren't that far away from me. I like to play at the powerlines at Washougal.
Anyway....welcome!!

Current things its in need of: New Windshield (Small leak on it that I jsut didnt have time due to work to fix. And of course, some new tires would be in hand... engine runs fantastic at a bit over 250k, I need to check the miles to get exact, little bit of a leak in the tranny, but for what I bought it for, it lasted many a year =)
EDIT: Here is my old ranger (Pics)

I'll definatly let ya know! If for any reason I dont decide to sell the entire thing.. I'll camp it out next to my garage and start poppin things out of it, looking to get rid of it for cheap, just enough for some play money for another couple months worth of bills... $500 cash and its whoever wants it.. as long as they've got a second driver to get it back home :-)
But yeah, other then that, You most definatly have a great lookin truck there, Fx4Wannabe, and I will look ya up when I decide to start getting into the down and dirty mods on my truck, Pretty soon here I am thinking of throwing some new coils on it, give me some room for my tires, and maybe a few other slight things.. as money allows of course. :-)
