Howdy everyone!

I'm Jon in Arizona. Just got my transfer case motor working again, by taking apart and cleaning the blue disc. Now it has me thinking about the SAS I've been wanting to do.

Would kind of like to get all the parts together to minimize down time.

Looking forward to learning! Thanks!

Always looking for accurate info and reliable resources

My truck is a black 1999 Ranger stepside 6' bed 2.5l4 cylinder SOHC automatic transmission w/overdrive 66565 miles on the clock and a Custom fiberglass camper cap on the bed. when purchased in Feb. 2014 Just over 70000 today.

Had a 2007 Toyota Matrix and a 1999 Toyota Camry 6 cyl. I'm a fairly big person, so getting into either car was more akin to trying to put on overalls that are 3 sizes too small as the result of some mobility issues. Went out one Tuesday morning determined to buy a pickup truck and found this truck at the first dealer that they had on a small back lot awaiting clean-u. Probably paid a little too much because of paint scratches but paint scratches don't make it run any worse. Came with 5 chrome wheels, wired front and back to tow or be towed and the appropriate hitches front and rear.

I live out in the desert in western AZ and when I saw this black truck, well, I didn't care that our average summer temps hang around 109 degrees and that I'd probably fry in the cab. Not so, to my surprise, no more than any other color
