Hello everyone. Thanks to everyone for letting me join the ranger forum. I have a 2002 ranger edge 3.0 engine 4x4. It idles very high, up around 3000 rpm. If I disconnect the battery cable and let it sit a few minutes then connect it again it idles normal. I have replace the IAC but did not help. What could be the problem? Thanks to everyone in advance.

 

Are there any cells? Check engine light on?

 

No engine light is on.
