I might still have the miller 250 sitting in my garage then, if not i already told him i'll be needing it that weekend so we're set on a welder.. worst case Jacob can bring his up, or we can take a short trip out to Kevans.

Ok, well I think for now, I'm going to try and lift the rear with an AAL and shackle, possibly the chevy 63" springs

Matt do you remember how much actual lift you got out of the RCD

no lol, i never had a before or after measurment. I don't think you'll be getting a true 5" over what you have once the coils sag because your tbars are cranked..

i remember the truck seemed fawkin huge before i put the winch on and started beating it, hell i was a lot higher than i am now.

How much work gets done really comes down to how many people working actually have a clue what they're doing lol

I do have an air compressor but i cant really run more than one tool at a time.

well they are cranked but the are fighting my bumper and skid plate daily. as of right now the front sits 1" to 1.5" lower than the back. I am getting 800# coilovers though

and I'm pretty sure you and jacob know your way around the front end pretty well, I know half *** what I'm doing then whoever else shows up can cheer or do something haha

yea no doubt jacob and i can have the front done in a few hours w/ minimal distractions. What are your plans about a front DS? RCD came with a little spacer thing, it was only 1/4" thick at the most iirc.

is there anywhere you can rent swamp coolers? lol

I don't know what I am going to do about the front DS. I have been wondering that. Do you still have that spacer. Cause if I can get it back to Midland then I can deal with that biatch later when it goes out

you can get those mister fans haha

Ok, I'm making a list of what I need

AAL - purchase in the works
Belltech shackle
800# coilovers - waiting on group buy
coilover brackets - buy from jacob
switch rotors with jacob

possibly 63" chevy springs - buy from jacob
rear shocks
driveshaft

35/12.5 LTB's oh yeah

if you think of something else let me know

What about hardware, am I going to have to buy all new hardware?

i still have some bolts

I think the only "new" bolts that the lift requires is connecting the new cross members to the original sub frame and possibly the diff drop brackets.. i think i have all of them still. There's only 2 diff drop brackets i think?

i have the bilsteins that came with the RCD lift hanging in the garage.. my truck doesn't have enough lift to run lift shocks lol i have some stock ones on there now

...might cost you a few more beers at Bone Daddys

If i end up working outside Saturday I'll gather all the brackets i have laying around and see what i do and don't have. I'm far too lazy to do that now after working all day.

man im ready for this meet to happen. this is gonna be exciting. i like how it turned into a "lift caseys truck/he buys us beer" meet. ill work for beer for sure. lol

and casey, like matt said, with minimal distraction, and air tools, im willing to bet we can have that front end lifted in a couple hours. start in the morning when its kool and just kick its ***. done by 2 or 3 max without any major complications. just bring some pb blaster, a BFH, and we can rely on matts air tools to do alot of the work.

dont forget to get ubolts if we do those 63s. and let me know if you want em so i dont forget em. lol
