Attn: New England Members, Summer meet?

Hey guys whats up. I have been noticing there is quite a few members from around this area. I was talking with Kyle12201 and we thought it might be a good idea to see if we can get a New England Meet going this summer. Massachusetts seems to be a good central area for all of New England so maybe we could get something going down there. I was not to sure on what type of places there are to have any meets but i thought i would post up this thread to see if we could get some ideas brewing. The summer is right around the corner so lets hear some ideas.

if you guys want wheeling, we just had a fun wheeling meet here in mass. there were five trucks cuz half the ppl said they were going were no shows cuz stuff came up, one guy got hurt etc. check out the pics if you'd like...i had a blast...a stock 94 made it through everything but it was 4wd. i think you will need 4x4 to pull you up some stuff though but a stock 4x4 easy make it trhough...anyway enough of my jabbering and here is the link for the pics

https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=85398
we plan to make this a monthly event...next time we go will put us in the first weekend of June.

i know you guys would love those trails but i don't know if everyone likes wheeling....ive never gone through stuff like that i mainly go to sand pits but i loved this.
throw out some ideas...we can always compromise and have a poll of when we want a meet and what type of meet we want it to be. im down for whatever but im just saying wheeling is sick haha

Wheeling is fun, but I don't think its reasonable to go wheeling in Mass, and then drive 3 hours home. Thats just waiting for something to break.

I'm game for a meet, depending on when and where.

True, maybe just a meet up would be cool.. we can wheel when we get back in maine! We haven't really got many posts yet on this topic. I'm waiting for some mass guys to chime in to figure out a place where we can go. This is just an idea, nothing is decided yet unfortunately.

Im down for a meet, but I most likely wont have a rig to wheel by then so I say we skip the wheeling this time.

ya a stock 4x4 will make it through but u need the 4x4 haha you won't break anything unless you want to break something so like u haul *** through the stuff u will risk it. im down for whatever but someone else should pick the spot haha i don't wanna be in charge of that lol.

I'm down for wheeling but if some people don't want to we don't have to, I went wheeling this weekend out on some powerlines it was fun, but my truck took a little beating, me being stupid. Just be carefull and don't be stupid and think you can go somewhere when you know you can't. Pedro where did you guys go wheeling? I checked out those pics that looks like a good spot. I'd like to get something going possibly around the end of June, if that works for everybody? I'll plan a bit I don't mind.. just need some others opinions/ideas.

In Ashburnham, MA. I honestly don't remember exactly how to get there...i just relied on the guys in front of me haha. My front wheels did a good job pulling my up some parts of the trail that we went at...it was like a drop off we went up it haha

if some guys don't want to go wheeling its alright i mean we can always go whenever...we plan to have our little group from mass go once a month.
If it gets more ppl to come then i don't mind a regular meet..im open to any ideas/suggestions. im sure some other MA guys will chime in soon.

I think we may be going the first weekend in june, since we went the first weekend of this month. Nothing is for certain but most have agreed to the idea. as for a non wheeling meet, im down for whatever, wherever.

Well I was thinking we could try and make it a large meet. Get a couple different sites involved which is why Im not for wheeling for a new england meet. I know my truck most likely wont be driveable so Id either be bringing the motorcycle or my Tundra.
