Matt IROKS suck in mud, but they are pretty darn good on rocks....especially red label iroks.

well most of the places i wheel are mainly loose dirt/mud and some rock.

Why not? Those tailgate cables will hold a lot of weight. I'm sure it will be fine.

just going to test them out, I mean think how much weight you can put on a tailgate, jumping around on them and chit, worked fine just lifting the truck but will really test them hopefully before long.

and if they don't work, oh well no big loss. Chain will be next though

maybe, the only thing I'm worried about with straps is all the thorned trees around here snagging them. Main reason I wanted to try this first but I will remember
