sounds like i have a leaf problem

it sounds like i have a leaf suck in my lower floor vent on the passenger side, and when switch it to window defrost i can hear it a little .i can hear it in the cab , when i pop the hood i can hear it a little some. where could it be if it is a leaf ? the a/c and heater still work . just the sound is driving me nuts and how hard would it be to get it out if it is a leaf

it is prolly in the blower motor...i dont think the motor is hard to get out...i think its only a matter of dropping the glove box

this happened to me last year and i just cranked the fan up to 4 for a while and it eventually stopped... im guessing it tore the leaf apart

blower, at least in my '98, is in the engine compartment. top-passenger side. 4 screws holds it on. pretty easy. I've got a leaf in mine as well.
