Dude, it's a truck, the only purpose of carbon fiber is weight reduction in race cars. It's not pretty, it's not cool, it's a ricer fad to rock the fake **** lol.

Truck don't need carbon fiber, they get beat, bounced, jossled, and so on, they need steel.

any fiberglass shop with vaccuum-forming capabilities could make you a real carbon fiber bezel...

It really doesn't matter what it's made of or what it looks like or WHO likes it... as long as you like it!!!

i dont think it would look bad.. maybe not that kit because its not complete, but its not like your replacing the entire hood with carbon fiber...

also i think those of you who think its ricey need to remember that step sides have fiberglass beds...so how are they not ricers...

I gave griggs a carbon overlay that was given to me by D. I didn't want to hack up to fit a 4x4 but it covered the entire bezel and look pretty nice. That one there looks like a piece of crap. I'd pass

I'd look for one of those mazda bezels like what was posted above. That looks much more nice than an overlay would.

Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass are two different things.

Carbon fiber hit the modding scene as a weight reduction replacement for heavy body pannels and such. It's trong and light .... and expensive!

people decided that after spending that much money of carbon fiber hoods and trunks, why cover it up with expensive paint. Some how being poor/cheap turned into a fad and now people are buying crappy vinyl sticker to look like Carbon fiber. That's like buying stickers that look like primer and putting them on your car. No class at all.

If I had a vehicle that was race ready, I wouldnt hesitate to put carbon fiber parts on to shave some lbs, but I would certainly paint over the black and grey criss cross.
