Removing manuel door panels

Just got new speakers and installing them myself. Wanna know how to remove the door panels before I try doing it. I dont wanna break anything. Rather be safe than sorry. Front doors don't look too bad. With common sense I can see the screws to remove the black part that has the handle. But not sure about the window crank though. I haven;t looked at the back door panels much. (by the way I got extended cab '02 ranger with the suicide doors)

i have done this many times so here it is take all the visible screws out the door handle one by the mirror and one down at the bottom corner there may be more but just take a good look then when u go to take off the window crank it can be trickey. first grab the part that goes into the door and try and pull the cover off. if that does not work look at it and find the cover where it seperates and use a screwdriver to py it but be gental then the screw is a star head so u need the right tourque screw driver or what ever it is called then it comes right off then lift gently and wiggle a lil and it should pop off when u put it back on rember to make sure the locks move in the hole the right way..
hope that helps if u need more help feel free to pm me

Got a lil ancy so I went ahead and figured out how to the front doors right after a started this thread. It was pretty easy. Just took a few more seconds than I did before and actually looked at everything. So the front doors are done now and the speakers sound great. But right at this moment I'm doin trying to do the back doors. I've got the seat done and out of the way(well they are just hanging off the door right now, but I know for sure I got those bolts, etc. out of the way for now.) Now I'm stuck on how to get that damn back door panel off. I haven't looked at the link above but I will after I'm done typing this. Thanks for the info so far.

Yeah the link above is helpful for the front speakers, but I've got the extended cab Ranger with the suicide doors. Anyone know how to remove these panels or where I can find out how. Thanks

Figured it out. Just gotta tug a lil harder. To get started take a larger flat head screwdriver get it under the panel, I started at the bottom and worked my way counter clockwise on the passenger side, and just slowly pry the panel out. There's lil white clips that pop off the panel and stay in the door. A couple stayed on the panel but looks like I'm gonna have to get them out of the door, put them back on the panel, and just try to line up the holes and pop the panel back in. Oh and by the way. I put 5x7 Alpines in all around and they fit perfect with no modifications to the door. I'm gonna do that sound deadening idea from the link above. That part just kinda spaced my mind in the future plans of my entire audio system setup. If you're doing this yourself just ask, I can help out quite a bit now lol. Thank you everyone but I figured this one out. Rangers Rule!

yea getting the pannels off is really easy once you figure out where to start pulling... getting the main pannel on is a pain tho trying to line up all those stupid slots...
