Icon5 removing door panels

Hey guys,

I just got my 2006 + side mirrors and I just want to rip the door panel off but I know I would probably tear something up.
So, I was wondering if someone could tell me if there's a special tool I need and if there's any screws that are hard to find.

btw... I have a 2004 Ranger XLT with power windows and door locks.

Thanks,

Brian

2 screws in the door pull. once you pull those out you can pull the door pull and that piece will come off, that inclueds the window and door lock button. behind that tehre is another screw. then one in the lower part of the door(left side for driver, right side on passanger). its pretty easy. then pull up slightly and remove.

Thanks Dan,

I thought I was going to need to get a panel removing tool like you use on the F-150 door panels.

nope, just make sure you dont pull stright once you get the 4 screws off... there are a few hooks on the inside that hook it in. up then out. just take your time and make sure you have the screws out!

Yes, I got the power mirrors because that's what's on there now.
There's a "How To" article about this subject on here.
One of the main things you have to do is remove the studs and cut the mounts/bosses down some. I highly recommend checking the article out before you do this.

^the crank arm is attached with like a #2 or 3 torx. what you see as the arm is just a plastic cover that snaps over the actual arm. and a flat tip screw driver and pry just on the outside edge of the crank arm(youll feel the lip of plastic with your fingers) and pry up
