Radio Bezel Question

Did you take the old rubber crap off of it before you painted it? Anyway.....I peeled off the rubber the best i could, then used 200grit to get rid of the rest. I followed that up with either 400 or 500grit on the entire bezel. I primed using Rust-oleum Auto grey primer, sanded that with i think 750 or so, then a light coat of prime, then on goes to color. I used John Deere Blitz Black....very close to stock color, just a little more shine....i guess it's considered Satin Black. That's how I did it.
