Explorer Center Console and BL question

Ok, I have been doing some research. I know you cant put in the explorer full center console with a bl apparently. So, could you trim around the opening of the console to make it work so you can shift into all the gears? Anyone with a manual with bl have a explorer center console in their truck? Thanks yall

Well it is pretty much you only choice. Unless you do it yourself. Which I would think is possible.

I still don't know why you can't put a full length in with a BL...

yeah, same here. what does a body lift have to do with screwing a center console to the floorboards?

Exactly. It can't be because of the shifter because of the shifter extension. So why?

It has to be the manual tranny shift extension throwing it off, I have a full console on my BL.

It seems to be in relatively the same place though. Isnt that part of the point of it?

Lets say it is hitting in 4th or 3rd, couldnt you dremel the plastic out all the way around? Doing it a way that makes it look good though.

Oh **** again I forgot you had an auto. GAYNESS. I'll put the center console in when I do my BL. Well actually I'll already have it in but I might go with a shorty.

i ran a full length and a BL for a while, you have to bend the shifter extension forward to move the shifter up so it doesnt hit in 2nd 4th and reverse
