'02 Exploder Sport buckets......bolt in??
Hi.
I have a chance to get some '02 exploder sport buckets. Will they bolt up??? I know some exploder seats will bolt right up to a supercab. What else can I use out of the interior or exterior for that matter from an '02 Sport??
Thanks!!
Shane

i just googled 2002 explorer to see a pic to see if it was the redesigned ones or not, and it is. if i remember correctly, the 2001 and below are the same as our rangers.... in 2002, when they redesigned it, i believe they made the explorers a bit wider overall. because of this, i beleive the interior is wider as well. i'm not sure how much wider, exactly, though.

Well the Explorer Sport until its dead was sharing the same platform as the Ranger, it was just redesing I think to look more like the 1st gen Sport Tracs (which used the same frame as the Ranger), and the interior is about the same as 95+ Rangers, dash, seats... almost everthing from the doors to the front. I dont think there would be a lot of trouble to swap bucket seats from a Sport to a Ranger unless you have the 60/40 bench in the Ranger and not the buckets.
