windshield wipers not working and i b going nuts

windshield wipers not working and i b going nuts
I have a ranger extended cab in which the windshield wipers dont work. i have done the following
replaced the windshield wiper moter
checked all fuses
shuffled relays
any suggestions or ideas

sounds like the stalk is bad
