turn off corner lights with headlights

i'd like have my corner lights turn off when i turn on my headlights/lowbeam.
2000 ford ranger.

i know they can be disable altogether (only keeping their signaling function).
however, i'd like to still have them work when the switch is in the park light position but have them turn off when the switch is turned to headlight position (head lights are on).

reference the below thread:

Unlike later models, the front corners on a 95 are dual filament bulbs. The brown wire to each is for the parking/running lights. There is also a black ground wire plus another color for the turn signals on either side. Interrupting the brown wires to the front corners should turn off the front parking/running lights without affecting the turn signals.

This would not affect the function of the DRL's at all because the DRL module supplies pulsed voltage to the headlights only, not the running lights.
