throttle sticking

While driving it seems like the throttle is sticking. In between shifting you can hear the rpms go up. When slowing down, after hitting the clutch in you can hear the rpms go up. Its not every time. But over the past month its been getting a little worse. I looked tonight I don't believe any cables or anything are getting stuck. I'm done some searching on the forums but just not sure what to check or how.

it might have some dirt or something in the cable. try spraying some lube in at the throttle body.

^ Yeah, that sounds more reasonable. wasn't thinking about that. Check if the pedal snaps back quickly, or listen for a hissing in the engine compartment.
