Switching Clearance Lights

Switching Clearance Lights
'01 Ranger Edge, 3.0. I added clearance lights to the roof because I like clearance lights on trucks. I wired them with a fuse tap in some random fuse location in the interior fusebox, so the clearance lights come on when I turn the truck on. Is there a fuse I could tap into instead that will activate the clearance lights with the parking lights (not the headlights, the parking lights)?
I'm thinking number 33 would work, but I wonder if anybody knows the answer ...
Thank you!

No, for fuse 33, it has 12volts all the time not switched or even key on, but it is the 12v for parking lights
You will need to add a relay to one of the Brown parking light wires so it activates a relay when parking lights get power
The Brown wire does come out of the Main Light switch so you could access it under the dash
You may be able to add your Clearance bulbs to the system without a relay
Most vehicles use 3157 bulb or similar for parking lights, they are .65 amps each, so if there are 8 stock parking lights, 6 + 2 license lights, thats 5.2amps, Fuse is rated at 15amps
The wiring is rated higher than the fuse otherwise the wire becomes the fuse, lol, so it can handle 20amps, as can the Main Light switch
When you add a trailer you are adding at least another 2 amps to parking light system, 3 bulbs, sometimes 7 more bulbs so 4.5amps more
If you are using LED bulbs for clearance lights then they use less amps than the 3157's so get that info
So do the math, but I bet you can just add your extra bulbs to the system, use an inline fuse of course, at the Brown wire Tap, 10amp, must be lower rating than the 15amp #33 fuse
