Steering Wheel Radio Controls
My father and I were at the JY a couple days ago and while we were there we snagged a leather 'eddie bauer' steering wheel from a Mountaineer with the airbag. After a good cleanup I decided to give it a try in my Ranger, so I swapped out the clockspring for the one from the donor vehicle and popped the steering wheel on. Cruise control works as expected, but I'd like to give my hand a try at getting the radio buttons to work.
Unfortunately my service manuals do not contain anything about those extra buttons, or the clock spring itself. Go figure. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the steering wheel controls go through the factory stereo. You will need an aftermarket interface and compatible headunit for them to work.
