console is the main thing.....then you have to have the AUX plug to go into the back of the radio.........

the consoles are pretty hard to find in a wrecked truck......since they haven't been that big of a hit in new trucks......

i am sorry, i told you wrong.....you don't need the AUX button.....

you do however have to tap into 2 + speaker wires and 2 - speaker wires.....and then have a + supply and a ground.....

i have a wiring diagram for it at home on my desktop.....but i am on my laptop now....

You can buy the plug for the radio side. As for running it without it yes I am right now off of my after market headunit and a amp. When I switch back to a factory radio I am going to run a Audiocontrol LC6 and run that to my amps.

I was able to swap my entire system for the Pioneer setup...I just reconnected everything and it works like a charm now.

I don't think you can tell from the front. How many plugs were there on the back of the radio.

Edit: that doesn't look like the one I have, you need the one that says Pioneer on the front.

yeah from the sounds of it that is just a normal 6 disk/mp3. If it was the one from the factory subwoofer system it would of had to plugs on the back of the radio. But you can still run the subwoofer off of a aftermarket amp. If you are still wanting to run it look into one of these and just run everything off of aftermarket amps.

or if you need a aux input.
