In my 2004 I didnt have a constant power wire so I ran a new one, I just cant figure out which holes to use to screw it up. I'm thinking its going to end up being a stupid question, but I cant figure this out for the life of me.

This picture from John Griggs's CarDomain shows how the stock light is wired on the pre-2004 Rangers. Three screws do double duty as conductors and fasteners. Two of the screws go into the hot wires in the two rectangular black plastic insulators. The third screw goes right into the sheet metal to provide ground - in this picture, it is the hole directly below the left plastic insulator.

Pay no attention to the cable in the middle of the photo. That is for a non-factory antenna and has nothing to do with the dome light.

Does your 2004 have a place in the roof brace for the other insulator? If so, just get one at a junkyard, splice it to the map light wire and snap it in place.
