Missing EGR wire

I have a 98 ranger 4.0 L four-wheel-drive vehicle. The two wire connector going to my EGR vacuum regulator is completely missing. Anybody have any help for me? Thanks

Welcome to the forum

As far as I know all the 1995 and up Rangers with 4.0l engine have EGR valve, so wiring harness would have the 2 wire connector for EGR solenoid

Should be a Brown/pink stripe and light blue/orange stripe wires

The blue/orange would be 12v with key on, same wire is shared by several solenoids(transmission) and EVAP, O2 heaters, cam sensor, ect....

Maybe it got mouse chewed?

For sure should have a code for it as its an emissions system fault
