Installing Wig Wag.....Need help.

I'm installing a wig wag flasher. It came from a police officer who made them. The unit came w/ a wiring diagram on how to install them and wire them up. I tried wiring them up the way they had it on the diagram, got nothing but a funny sound coming out of the control box. The diagram said that on some cars, the headlights are wired up to one wire, where no wig wag would happen. To overcome this problem, the directions said to install a relay to make them work...did that, not all it does is both lights flash, almost like the hazards.

And now my question: How do I wire this thing up to my high-beams, and make my high beams function normally when flasher is switched off???

THANKS!!

Shane

Not to be a smart *** but you buy a real headlight flasher not one made by some cop who made it. If you can email me a copy of the diagram and maybe a brand of flasher if it isn't just homemade one I MIGHT be able to figure it out for you.

I sell Whelen Headlight flashers for 37.10 plus shipping.

I definately agree I shouldn't have bought it....I should've bought something real....brand name and all that. I'm checking out your site right now.
