Anyone use one?I have 30 days to return it! Is it a POS,what do you except for $21.00???.
Trying to stay ahead, the next time my truck puts out a code.

I picked up a blue tooth one off Amazon a while back. I love it. Run the Torque app on my phone and log / save everything. Can do real time monitoring of anything being sent through the ODB.

Not real familiar with that one but for the money it will probably only just give you any codes stored in your computer as MIL (Malfunction Indicator), Freeze frame and pending and you'll have to look up the codes and interpret them from there.

The blue tooth is really the way to go if you have a smart phone. If you have an Iphone make sure the one you get is compatible . Some of them only work with Android.

The cool thing about the blue tooth ones is you can plug them in and leave them there and they'll give you constant live readouts of all your main functions, whatever your particular model on board computer is capable of will read out on your smart phone screen in real live time, speed, temperature, oil pressure, RPM etc etc.

They also of course will give you an MIL codes and allow you to turn off the CEL and with apps like Torque pro ($9.99) or Torque lite (free but not as functional and has ads) or Dashcommand ($4.95 ) you can tap on the codes and get a lot more information about your particular problem than just the basic "Catalyst bank1 Sub standard" .

My blue tooth one is a Konnwei KW 902 I got on ebay for $15.99 and is way better than my walmart bought Innova 3030 that cost $69.00. One of the good things about it is that it goes into sleep mode when plugged in but not in use so it doesn't run your battery down. Some of the cheap models don't have that function.
