How to manually wire lights. on 1994 ranger
Hi i have a short somewhere in my wireing harness that has caused wires to melt and fuses, and now none of my lights work, only turn signals, Can anyone give me some advice on how to wire my headlights and running lights together to a switch, and wire my brake lights seperatly? I have a good idea how to do it, just dont know exactly how to fuse everything and how to get my brake lights to work with the running lights.. And how could i wire in my dash lights? this is on a 1994 ford ranger.. Thank you any input will help

First I’d recommend locating the problem and then determining the extent of damage. Once you have that figured out I’d recommend repairing the system rather than trying to bypass it. I’d suspect either the light switch connector and or switch have gotten hot and melted causing the short. NAPA auto parts sells a replacement wiring connector and switch.
