Halo projector fog lights?

Does anybody currently have these installed or has anybody heard anything about these fog lights? they look awesome, but I never see them around, like what kind of bulbs does it use in case they burn out, and will it be impossible to find those bulbs, are they bright enough? I'm just looking for all your thoughts. thanks!

Just forget the fogs and get projectors for your headlights.

goliath553 There is one guy who makes projector headlights for an '01+ and then there is me, who did them too. He charges a pretty penny and mine are amateur. It was a joke to me I guess most people on here do not know about my headlights.

NICE! Thanks for the ideas. What did you rip the projectors out of?

I got them out of an Infinity FX. I used an ebay HID kit with a custom wiring harness. Also needed is no fear for dremeling and flying by the seat of your pants, as well as not wanting to pay this : http://www.izntrbl.com/product_info....me/ford-ranger

I said I would never do another set, but dayum look at what he is getting for those, lol. Plus they are low beam only. Mine are bi-xenon in the projector, so there is only one bulb per side and no moving parts except one rod that moves the cutoff shield. Very reliable and OEM, semi-legal too.

Not sure if they have a larger diameter. 3" seems to be about industry standard for projectors. In the university section of the forums on hidplanet.com they have a whole ton of projectors listed and their exact measurements. Not sure if the Volvo will be any bigger. Are you wanting ti bigger to fit the housing better? I will agree mine does look kind of funny, but the light output is the best IMO, but according to HID and projector gurus, the FX is just so-so, but coming from stocker bulbs, I could not image the light output being any better now that it is currently.

I had a 780 & they look like hids but they aint, they're regular lights. And they SUCK worst headlights I ever had!!!

But the high beams were the best it was like kicking on some KC's made it look like daytime!
