Have you ever been to a lowrider/car show with similar setups being that low?
If he shimmed it right and corrected his pinion angle, he won't have any problems. And the tailshaft breakage will come with the bad angle with that 1-piece shaft.
Rangeron20's, do you have current pictures of the tranny/axle/driveline setup from the side? Is bagging in the Ranger's future plans?
I think it looks good. Still lots of work left, with the bed and painting the new chassis. Shocks, mounts, leaf choice...did you do the spring-under or get use an explorer rear?

well they can give all the negativity they want but it drives well. Alot better now that i notched the frame. No more bump stoppers!!! And they can only see pix, i can actaully see the whole thing so i know exactly whats going on with it. The only problem i got is that Im gunna need to hook up a fuel cell. But thanks for the positive, negative comments......... i just wanted to show people that it can be done with a few mods...

I bet it rides just fine if the shaft angle was corrected.
I'll be notching my frame later this evening ( Hopefully ) as well as putting in a cross-support between the 2 that I already have put in.
Someone asked, and I'm wondering as well, are bags in the future for your ride? I'm not into flare-sides, But I like your truck, its not ' overdone ' at all.

yes bags are in the future... im just waiting to find the right daily driver so i can finish up my project, also im in school so it kinda makes it hard to work alot. Well this weekend i gotta weld some cross-memebers to the notches and i will have the bed off so i'll remember to take a couple of pix of the shaft for you. But thanks for the compliments!

also ranger on 20's didnt you break an driveshaft to when u flipped the front hangers?
I dunno how thats drivable my gastank is like 4 inches off the ground with a 7 inch drop and hard to drive around. 9 has to be horrible? The pinion angle looks horrible mine looks nowhere near that also isnt your driveshaft rubbing on the crossmembers by the gastank?
