Flasher/Blinker Relay problem.

Flasher/Blinker Relay problem.
So I did an 01 front end swap years ago and never got around to changing the flasher/blinker relay. The result is a fast blinker because I lost a bulb from the driving lights on each side.
I picked up an EP27 flasher from Advanced, but looking at the pins the EP27 only has 5 pins, but the old Ford one (with #8162A and it's yellow) has 6 pins.
So do I need to get a different aftermarket flasher?
EDIT:
so judging by this, it's a good chance it's yellow? still doesn't say anything about the number of pins though....
Turn signal flasher relay location?

Have you replaced the stock flasher with the ep27 yet?
The flasher in your 01 should be behind the driver side kick panel under the steering wheel, probably clipped to one of the braces behind there. It could be yellow or blue, maybe even black.
I know a few guys with the 01+ rangers who are using the ep27 without issue.

Well i have an update.
I went ahead and installed the EP27 relay. IT WORKS wonderfully. Turns out the yellow relay that was in there had 6 prongs, but the female part on the truck only had 5 places for prongs..... so the 6th was unused. I hope this clears up some information about replacing this flasher, for those that get a tad confused like I did.
And from what I can understand, it looks as though from about 94-97 the flasher relay is blue, 98-00 it's yellow, then back to blue, maybe black for 2001+.
