Fan not blowing on all settings

My fan only blows on 3 and 4. 1 and 2 seem to do nothing. Any ideas?

Also, my fan starting making like a clicking noise the other day like something was in it but it has since gone away.

Not running on lower speeds is a symptom of a bad blower resistor or a corroded connector at the resistor.
Clicking is usually from leaves or twigs in the blower impeller.

I saw something about that. Where do I need to look? Under the hood?

Under hood. The blower resistor block is screwed into the plenum right next to the blower. Look for a 5-pin connector.

Wow, hot stuff.
I need to look at mine since I only have high now.
I purchased a new resistor pak and was thinking of the wire lug setup but too cold right now.

Thanks for the picture of the connector.

Did you just rewire without the connector or did you replace the Resistor Pak ?

Any pics of your steps ?

I went to the junkyard and cut off the resistor plug with wire from a ranger. I used the resistor from the ranger from the junkyard. I tried just plugging in a different resistor but the wiring was shot within the plug. All I did was cut off the old plug and slice on the new one. Only took 10 minutes.
