Defroster Vents Only & Postions 1 & 2 arnt working
Since my last wheeling trip ive had alot of issues show up all at once. i was able to fix most of them but im stumped on one.
as some of you know today was f-ing hot! so i put on the a/c and come to find out its only working through the defroster vent. this happened to me once before and it was a vacuum line that came loose. so i checked all line that i can think of and there good! and now that im thinking about it...im not even sure that positions 1 and 2 are even working properly. the a/c still kicks in but its not blowing till you turn it to 3.
any ideas on what this could be...naturally it breaks on a day that i need it most!
Little update. there is a red line that comes off the manifold and to the reservoir. i took that line bypassed everything and connected it to the black line that goes thru the firewall. no changes.

is it the blower motor resistor pack that causes this? i wanted to get the name of the part so when i go into work tomorrow i can order it. blasting it all the time is just not gunna work for me lol
i did bypass the vacuum resevoir but directly connecting the vacuum hose to the intake manifold.. works nice except when you open throttle up a lil it starts to fade out and then go to defroster vents haha...guessing the lack of vacuum when the throttle is more open.
