Car Dying at hotter temperature

My 04 FX4 has recently started to have problems. The car runs just fine when cool, but when it starts to warm up, it automatically dies, and wont start until it gets cool again. any ideas??

Any check engine light? ECT, fuel filter, fuel pump, coil, crank sensor are just thinks that pop to the top of my head.

First step is to figure out if its fuel related or ignition related.

The first thing to do is scan for codes. The problem isn't the "coil", the coilpack contains three separate coils, and I wouldn't think all three coils would go out at the same time.

we are about to pick up a diagnostic tester to see if it can pull up any codes to let us know the problem areas hopefully.
