Blowing brake/hazard & signal fuses

As the people who went out on the 1/13 & 1/14 Wharton trips know, I blew 3 fuses in 2 days for my hazard/brake lights and 2 fuses for my turn signals. After doing some thinking about where the problem may lie and what the 2 fuse circuits may actually have in common, I decided to start at my trailer hitch wiring.

If I ever meet the guy that did my body lift, I'd love to show him all my appreciation with the back of my hand. Yes, he pinched two wires while doing the BL. (The BL was done before I got the truck 2 years ago... and apparently after the hitch was installed )

I guess it's not really pinched... it's more like MOUNTED MY FREAK'N BODY ON TOP OF

Both wires bare to the right of the dikes, one's missing close to 2"

Although only time will tell, I think I may have found my fuse blowing problem

I would say that would be your problem. That guy was not the brightest crayon in the box.

Hmm... maybe he ran out of zip ties, and it was the only way he could keep the wires from dangling.

Oh, well okay then. In that case it makes total sense. I guess I should have just left them there.
