Best Security Alarm System for Rangers

As you know, Rangers are pretty easy to break into (If you know the trick) and a lot of them and Toyotas have been ended up stolen recently. In that term, I'm in need of a solution, I'm looking for the BEST system, no kinks or cheap parts.
Anyone fill me in on a security system for a manual power locks and doors Ranger?

Thanks, Joey

This thread is a good read... I put my security updates in there as well including the Jimmi Jammer protecting the door locks

The ranger isn't some unique vehicle when it comes to alarms. You're basically asking "what is the best alarm on the market?" They're all pretty similar, with different options and customizability so look at what is available in your area and ask a shop what they offer. I don't have an aftermarket system but it should be the same as anywhere else... "the more expensive it is the better it is".

If you get one though you should get an auto start at the same time! It might be nice on hot summer days in Oregon.

Viper all the way - All of my vehicles over the years have gotten them.

Once you get the remote start as part of it - you will never be without it again.

I think now many companies are providing the security system that are connected with gsm technology and both the monitoring company and you get the alert via a text on phone if anyone try to disable your security system. But they are a little costly.
