Any one that has done this. Where did you mount it? I can't find part of bed liner with that much clearance. Also how did you get the wires out of the bed. I know Christian did this but I searched this site and Gen Edge and could not find anything. PLease help out.

Thanks
WT

I did it, and it is quite simple. I was **** about it because I wanted my wire out of the rain, mud and muck, so I ran it inside the frame and any enclosed area's I could fine. Simply hooked it into the battery and started running it down the drivers side of the truck.

When I got to the bed, there is a hole in the drivers side rear about half-way up the tailgate on the inside 'flange' of the bed. That is where I put my recepticle.

Also, make sure that you use a water-tight, or otherwise a 'Marine' application to avoid water + electricity = bad problems.

This is a pretty unique mod. I would have done this if i had something that actually used the 12v adapter.

It is a cool mod. with my bed cover it gets dark back there so I have my spotlight in the bed I just plug it in and it lights up the bed of my truck for me.
Plus my air compressor for the wife's pool floaty and other crap we take to the beach. I'm sure now I'll find more uses for it now that I have it. I had a lot of fun with Dremeling it out.
