Air Bag Light comes on

Maybe a month or two ago my air bag light came out for a little while. The next time I started it up and did not come on. And just the other day the same thing happened again. Should I be worried at all? This is a 2003 XLT Supercab Automatic 4L

how many times does it flash? should be a 2 digit code. something like 2 7, or 4 6.

normally, they flash a series of flashes, then stay on. most common cause is with the connectors under the seats. normally, they just need to be cleaned and a little grease added to them. but without the 2 digit code, it's hard to tell.

they will give what code the light is representing. for example, it will flash 2 times, then pause, flash 4 times, long pause, then repeat. this would be a code 24.
