at first everything worked. no abs codes and cruise control. then i was getting a bad clicking on hard lefts so I figured a bad axle so I had a parts truck and I swapped both axles and this fixed the clicking, i was having some shake in the staring wheel so I figured I would swap the bearings since I had them. but the new bearings had no place to mount the abs sensor to so I just tied them off and carried on. well I got a abs light on at this point and thought ok yeah I understand that sensors are unplugged so then I realise my cruise control is not working , this is something I want to work so I got some "new bearings" off a buddy's tuck he had just rolled so get the new bearings in there and still have a abs light on. read the code its c1145 bad front right speed sensor connectivity issue so I replace the sensor still have code so I replace the bearing again with a brand new 165 dollar fu$%&r, figure a tone ring is gone, still have code . test abs speed sensor cable it's good. check all connections at harness use multimeter to ensure no breaks in wires everything is good. my buddy and I have tested everything up to the abs module so I'm going to the junkyard in the morning to try to get one. can anyone offer any insight? something we missed .. does it sound like a abs module? the research I've done says they usually last the life of the vehicle..ive been chasing this problem for 3 weeks any help would be friggin appreciated

 

Have you tried a reset
Some ABS codes must be reset, cleared by coder reader, after new parts are installed, ABS module will not run self test until cleared

 

Fix the ABS problem and the cruise will work. The computer sees no speed info for the wheels that disconnected and does see speed info for the other wheels. Computer sees that something is not right so it disables the cruise. BTM
