'96 Fog lamp wiring????

.....I did do a search on installing factory fog lamps, all I found was for newer Rangers(98-up),I have a '96 Splash that did not come with fogs, did some checking on the truck,it does have a connector at the bumper and behind the radio bezel......question is,is there any other thing else needed, other than the switch, lamps, and bezel(which I have all)......thanks for any help, and sorry if there was a post on this and I didn't find it.........

I believe that is all you need. The wiring is already installed in almost all the '95-'97 Rangers.

im sure there is a relay, the one in the fuse box the tells the fogs to turn off when the highbeams go on, i have the factory cast light mounts if your interested, and i have the connectors hanging under the bumper that used to plug into the lights.

you are correct Kevin, there is a relay in the fuse box. I believe it is a matter of simply plugging one in.

Justin (toreador4x4) is looking for a set of the fog light brackets.

Well 2 things.. all my 2(93's) and 1(94) has had the wiring and missing the relay but it was also missing the plugs in the fuse box. so it didnt work on mine like that plus you are missing the switch on the dash to turn them on..

what i did was wire in a relay.

12+ constant to the battery
12- to ground
12+ switch to 12+ park like wire (making fogs come on with park lights)
12+ to fogs

He can do that, but he already has the wiring in the truck. I have yet to see a '95+ that didn't already have the wiring there.
