93 3.0 cuts off while driving

ok, so yesterday my truck just cuts off randomly with no warning. i was driving up a hill, with plenty of gas, and the truck had been driving for about 1.5 hrs before this, when it just cut off.

radio still on, but engine off, check engine light on, and no power steering and no real brakes. kept trying to start it, but no luck. right now its at a lot about 1.5 hrs away, and i'm gonna have it towed to a dealer today.

any thoughts guys?

does it just crank or what does it do when you turn the key?

it cranks up fine, just wont actually start. the battery is maybe a year and a half old, but its been fine, and the radio and stuff still works.

check the fuel pressure at the rail. Theres a schrader valave on the back of the rail (passenger side) The fuel pump may be pumping but not at the required pressure. Too low and it will not run. Also check the inertia switch in the passenger side front footwell. It is under the carpet and has 2 wires going to it.. Make sure to push it down to see if it popped. If it popped theres your issue.

i will definitely check on the inertia switch and the rail. hopefully its just a $40 fix with the switch.
