4ft firestik

friday im buying a CB, and i have a 4ft firestick... where would be the best place to mount it at? i was thinking on my tool box, but not sure.. wanted to see what u guys thought

I've got mine mounted to my toolbox, but added a ground on the inside of the box, from the mirror mount on the box, to the box mounting bolt....and it helped out being properly grounded.

I mounted mine in the stake pocket using this nifty mount I bought from someone on here. It just claps into the hole.

I have mine on a beany I wear on my head, but I cut a hole in the roof for it to stick out. The metal plate in my head forms the ground plane...

I have mine on a stainless steel ball on the rear fender between the wheel and the taillight.

yeah john, i love the way urs is set up, wanted to do sumthing like that for a while.. is there a how-to on ur cardomain?

EDIT: wait is that just stuck on there n held on my a magnet? or is it acutally drilled in to the bed?
