2003 Ford Excursion Trailer Wiring Help Required.
Started a post on F150-Forums, thought I better bring it here to get some quick time answers.
Ok, so, from memory this is where I think i was at (laughs & cries, did this in the rain this morning.)
Brake lights work
Left Turn Works
Right Turn works
DRL do not.
Regarding the wiring setup below, this is trailer wiring being discussed, I havent touched or looked at anything on the truck. So this is a wiring kit for rear lights and a plug for the front of the trailer. The plug is considered A) and the wiring kit B) in my discussion below
A)Connect Plug below into truck
yellow
green
white
brown (not wired to rest of the trailer. when plugged into running truck, no power is found on that wire)
B) trailer wiring wired into A) above
yellow to yellow A)
green to green A)
yellow brown B) / green brown B) & white B) to white A)
white B) to white A)
Alll of that has gotten me
Brake lights work
Left Turn Works
Right Turn works
