Zabeard sliders
This past Saturday my brother and I drove Five and a half hours from my house in Illinois to Zach's house in Indiana to have him put my sliders on my truck. I know its been said before, but I have to say Zach is a very nice guy that does great work. I was very impressed with his work and the great job on my sliders. I will get some pictures up here soon. Thanks Zach.

did Zach paint those before you put em on, and what kinda paint is it?
IM going to be having him put the same ones on mine here this next month, just curious.
EDIT: also did you have him change any on these or just the standard 3 post style? They look really good, you should get a few more pics up of them.

Be prepared for the compliments. When I was dd'ing the truck, nonstop compliments on how sweet my "steps" were. lol They are very high quality. I had mine powder coated black. Haven't put them to the real test, but one day...
Yours look super clean. I love your truck just the way it is. Nice job Zach!

cool cool. Whats different about the 4 posts to the 3 posts, like literally jsut 4 posts spread out inside for bracing instead of 3? Or is the slider actually different looking, longer, etc?

Zach I was in Springfield after work yesterday. I went to a autobody shop to ask them about spraying the sliders with a liner just for the extra protection. I am checking a few different places, but will for sure be getting them done. The guys at the shop were very impressed with your work and the great welding job.

If you plan to use the sliders I would personally go with a flat or semi-gloss black from a rattle can. That way it's easy to touch up at home. Linex or something will look awesome until you scratch them and they start to rust, and you have a surface that you can't easily touch up.
Just my $.02
