Is your Ranger a stick?

I can't drive an auto-trajic car, so my truck is a 5spd and so is the wifes car. I made her buy a 5spd and taught her how to drive. Thankfully our driveway at the time was a decent hill so she had that to learn on. Myself, i paid my mom to rent me a 5spd sunfire. I followed her in her car, once we left the rental place we swapped cars and she wished me good luck and left me, so yeah taught myself.

I learned in my dad's 73 Super Beetle in the mall parking lot.
My 04 Ranger was manual trans/locks/windows. The only manlier it could have gotten would be a manual transfer case too. 2wd though.
My current Ranger is auto, but my Mustang is a stick. More fun to drive by far.
Knowing how to drive stick is part of being a man. Along with knowing how to grill, cooking with beer and knowing facts about tanks, driving a manual transmission is a must if you have *********.

My first car - 1984 Honda CRX was a manual, which my dad taught me how to drive. Since then, I've had 3 automatic cars, and I always missed being able to shift. That being said, my truck is a manual, and my next car will also have a manual transmission - can't really get a Mustang and call it a sports car without one.

I learned on an s-10 that someone brought into the bodyshop that i was working in. I kind of feel sorry for the guy but oh well. hen i got an escort that was a stick which is where i really learned how to drive one instead of just move it around the parking lot. all of my rangers have been auto's.
