Will 30in tires fit on a stock ranger

An equally important question as "will they fit?" is "how will it affect my ride quality?" With the upgrade to larger tires you'll have decreased stopping power, slightly poorer acceleration, and often a reduction in gas milage. The first thing to think about is your gears, there's a code on your driver's door jam that corresponds to an axle code. Check this chart to see what the optimal tire size for your gear ratio is and work from there..

Look at my avatar. I have 30x9.5 R15 on my truck. I only got those instead of 31's, because I scored all four brand new for $150. BUT if I were buying them, I would go with at least 31's. If your going to spend that much money for 30's, you could spend a couple more and get a bigger size that would look better.

I like the stock wheels and just need to knowwhat the size of the stock wheels are. They are the same wheels that Gatorblue42 has. Thanks for all the help

NOW if you want some major big tires you can run a 33x10.5x15 on the stock rim. but personally the 33x10 looks WAY to skinny for the hight. now if you have a 16" wheel stock run a 265x75x16. that help ya ?
