so far ive gotten changein my oil and greasein my stearing links down to under 30min

 

I change all my cars oils. never trust shops.

valvoline 5w30 syntec w/ the fl20s filter from ford motorcraft.

 

I guess i'm one of rare who don't, reason why?, no space to do it. no time to do it, and I actually trust the shop I go to. plus the fact that i'm watching the guys and making sure there doing the work right as they do it. and they don't air wrench the plug on, so If I needed to do it I can.

 

I change my own oil and all filters. The brakes are next.

 

holly old thread!? Wow and I never saw it? Um yeah I get down and dirtty with changing oil. Just changed my oil yesterday.

 

What really concerns me is the fact that there are 13 votes for: You mean you have to CHANGE the oil??!!??!

 

lol good call on that one. When the ones come with a new thread "my engine burnt up and I can't find out why" we can bring this thread up!

 

my friend got his oil done at jiffy lube (oil co in so cal..dunno if they are out of state) right before a 300 mile roadtrip and the guys left the radiator cap off and it ruined his entire engine. They ended up buying him a new car comparable to what he already owned...and yes I do my own oil =]
