i'm actually stuck right now as to what i want to do next, and what i need to do next.. i want to get a chip from doug.. but i kinda need to get an alarm on my truck.. over the past week there's been 2 or 3 break ins in my neighborhood alone, and im afraid my car might be next, again.. it was already broken into a year or so ago.

2003 Front End.

I know, I know, you guys already have it :D

But I hate the Gen 4 front when compared to the Gen 5's

ALso, when I do the F/E swap, I will simultaneously do five mods at once....more on that later.

A standard friction type limited slip will lose its torque bias very quickly. You'd be better off with something else for your money.

Got something new on the truck..Not the BL yet

Well, after this weekend, it looks like I might have a mod to do. :|

Pulled off the rear diff cover.... the truck had limited slip at one point in time... still trying to find out what options I have, as to whether it's easier/cheaper to rebuilt the L/S, or get a locker of some sort installed. I'm not sure how much my b/f and I can do ourselves.

For one, I WILL be getting a new diff cover. The old one is PLASTIC!! :toimonst: I hate scraping old gasket off with my fingernails. Metal covers are sooo much better. Not to mention stronger offroad. I'd hate to think what could've happened if I hit a rock or something! :o

Post or Leave?

well... the new television mod just took away from the lift and grille mod... at least for a few months...

oh well...

future plans are this:

pick the old f150 up in 10 days... put about $1500.00 into it... get it running great...

then a couple of mods for my ranger... lift, grille, and a surprise...

then back to the old truck(which will need it's new tires, interior all finished, etc)

my goal is to be finished with my ranger by february(no more mods after that)... be finished with my old truck, never... and buy a dirtbike...

i figure, i will only be this young once, i work hard, and i want to take advantage of anything i can... i don't want to look back and wish i had done or had something...

when i am older, then i can worry more about saving... i save about 20% of every check... the way i figure it, what i make per year now, is nothing compared to what i will make when i am older, so i will have fun with it now, while i have no real responsibilities to other people...

You can get a Powertrax No-Slip they make one for both L/S & open diff 8.8 axle and install in the driveway in a few hours. I did one about a month ago. and it works great.

I'm done. So basically have to part some stuff out and sell them. I'll keep the system, billet grille, clears, Monroe shocks, and whatever lol. Need to save up for this 30k service, pay some bills. With some money I could get DOOM 3 hehe. Some reason i'm gettin less interest to my truck. Only thing i'll do to her now is cleaning it, service it, pay the Payment MOD. I might soon put a "For Sale" Mod on her window. But not for a long while lol.
