I'd like to see an ALL NEW 2013 Ranger with the Ecoboost V6, available in any cab configuration, with a RELIABLE manual and/or auto, with a coil sprung front end, and 4x4.. Electric moonroof and rear window would be ****. Factory air lockers - yes please.

My personal choice, one that I'm not always having to fix.

I'd like to have a stock tie down system like the new tacomas. and a stock powersource in the bed too! I know both can be done easily but the tacos stock setup for the bed is legit! the bedliners they come with are head and shoulders above the cheapo junk we got stuck with lol

I'm with you. All of the above, plus a nice leather option, factory HIDs, and the crew cab option that still retains the 6' bed.

I would want a better center console that the armrest did not break, I also remember back in the day when trucks had a wing glass, that would be nice or at least a popout ventilation window available on the supercab.

I would like to see a factory propane system for all engine sizes, the 02 Edge hood on new Rangers and an F350 tailgate step to make it easier to get in the back (I have short legs).

anyhow, while they are different its about the same, i mean a ranger with 4 doors, your bed is going to be worthless just like the Sport trac. I just dont see the need in making a 4 door ranger, but thats what you guys would want i guess, no need to start a argument lol..
Yeah cause nobody in there right mind would own a 4 door Ranger. Nobody has those. And obviously nobody on here ever talks about wanting them.

I believe you are in minority around here not wanting a crew cab Ranger

[QUOTE=150s and 1500s don't even come with that options, why would they do that on the Ranger?[/QUOTE]

yeah but it would still be cool. even a 150 would be pretty sick with a solid axle from the factory!

Hell even the new Naturally Aspirated v6 would be great to have. Also a diesel option would be ****.

31 spline 8.8 w/discs and a selectable locker from the factory would be awesome.
Wish someone would make a good looking front bumper for them.
HID headlights from the factory would be cool.
Comfortable, heated leather bucket seats from the factory.
The list goes on and on.

That is close, but this is more along the lines I was thinking:

Thorbecke Brothers S-10 5-Link Back Half with Poly Bushings | suicidedoors.com

Cut the entire back half off, then bolt in new rear section already fabbed up. Some of us just don't have the time/skill.
Just sayin'

Personally, I think crew cabs with real short beds are ugly, never mind fairly useless as a pickup. That's one of the reasons I don't like the Sport Tracs.

Your'e either going to end up with a useless truck or one that looks like a hacked together limo. Probably why you don't see many of them.

That and people who buy it don't really need it. Crewcab long box's do look a tad long in some cases, but way more useful then a 6'. Ever tried hauling a load of wood with a 6'? Hope you like making a couple of trips.

more dedication form the R&D team and upper brass at ford.

lets face it from the other thread that mike made asking what trail pig he should buy. the technology in todays' ranger is 10 years old. today's ranger should be at 250 horses and close to 300 ft/lbs. whether in v8 form or forced air v6. there is a market, ford knows this but its politics that killed it. they want to sell more f-150s here. to do that they need to offer more options.

unfortunately no matter how many "wish" threads we make or how many petitions we sign, th ranger is dead.

stock pile parts while you can....

Long tubes for the SOHC 4.0L would be nice.

Then I took a look, and it'll be hell to make them fit around the front driveshaft on the driver's side.

I still might fabricate a set for my own truck, if I have a few days to kill...
