What size and brightness is this LED?

Hey y'all, I want to replace this LED in the foglight switch. It's not the one that lights up the actual switch (the lightbulb) it's the LED that indicates if the switch is pressed or not. I am using a stock fog light switch to control my PIAA lights and want to distinguish between the two, but I don't want the switch itself to look different under normal conditions. If anyone has replaced this LED, what size and brightness did you use?

yeah it's not a great picture, but there are 2 lights inside a foglight switch. One of them is a bulb, which determines what color the whole switch lights up. When you push the switch and the foglights are on, there is an LED that lights up to indicate the switch is pushed and the lights are on. I want to change that LED.

*facepalm* lol. I guess I will take it to Radio Shack with me tommorrow. I don't want it to be like blinding bright haha. Maybe I will pick up a few and see what suits me. It's not like they are very expensive!

Thank you sir I will certainly keep that in mind! I was guessing about 3mm also. It was the brightness I had not a clue on.
