when i ordered new shock at work the option came through with high rider package ... and thats why my truck before mods sat higher than the average xlt ranger?????

x2, thats what my 01 "4x4 Off Road" came with. I think fog lights came standard with the "Off Road" package as well.

NO, your truck didnt sit higher...unless your comparing it to a 2wd or a xl/xlt 4x4 with 235 tires and 15" wheels...then it only sat higher because of the tires...nothing more, no ranger 4x4 (98 +, pretty sure from 93+)sat higher because of some factory lift, it was just wheel and tire sizes.

In 01 fog lights came standard on any edge 4x4 or XLT 4x4 regardless of ORP The only way you could get a 4x4 ranger without them in 01 was to have an xl or lesser model. The Value ranger came out in 2003 they you could get a 4x4 XLT without foglights

My 2001 4x4 Off Road, I got decals, 4.0L, gas and t-case skids, 8.8 with 4:10's with L/S, #1 Bars, Towing Package, all power options, Fogs, 16" wheels. Yea I think thats about it.

My 2002 4x4 Off Road is an XLT extended cab, 4.0L 8.8 4:10's with L/S, All power Options, 16" wheels Tow package Fogs. but no Skids except gas tank. (not exactly sure if theres one there)
